Following the appointment of Mark Hart as Sales Director this Summer to further expand and support the sales team Ocean Safety has recruited and a UK Sales Representative and two new Sales Co-ordinators.
MARK HART
Mark joined Ocean Safety from Zodiac, where he covered areas from Iceland to Russia, UK to Poland including all the Scandinavian countries. In Denmark, he was instrumental in supplying five 10m inboard RIBs to the Danish Life-Saving Authority (RDANH). Many of the boats were sold to cruise ships for the Eco-tourism business, for polar expeditions to look for wildlife in their natural environment. In an earlier sales role, Mark provided boats and support to the UK MoD and the RNLI
PAUL CALLUS
Paul Callus has taken over the role as UK representative, following 8 years with Plastimo as Area Sales Manager for Navimo. He brings specialist knowledge from working closely with the technical teams in shipyards and service stations in his support roles to the trade, and is well versed in working with brokers, dealers, boat builders and corporate companies.
CLAUDINE CURTIS
Claudine Curtis has joined as a Sales Co-ordinator to look after chandleries and support the national sales team. She is the point of contact for product support, literature and point of sale. Claudine lived in the Canaries for 15 years and had her own marine outlet, dealing daily with chandlery, brokerage and paperwork clearance for powerboats and sailing yachts. She also speaks Spanish and German.
DAVID HADDACKS
David Haddacks is now part of the team as a Sales Co-ordinator responsible for supply and service to some of the UK leisure boat builders. He comes with a wide knowledge of the commercial cruise market, having spent eleven years with Princess Cruises around the world. He holds a Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft following his involvement with cruise liners and has passed courses on sea survival training and fire fighting.
Mark Hart heads up the Ocean Safety sales team worldwide and oversees export sales with Andy Bracewell who is the Export Sales Manager.
