Complete Marine Freight has recently started operations in Palma with a new business aimed at all aspects of cargo handling for leisure craft, from the smallest race boat to the largest superyacht. In addition their new website has just gone live, giving specific details of their worldwide operations.
Attention to detail is key and Tom Sell, the Managing Director and his experienced Team are well versed in worldwide freight forwarding and providing services to the yachting industry. Prior to setting up Complete Marine Freight, Tom has been in the freight forwarding and shipping business over a decade, and more specifically Managing Director of a Spanish Division for global marine shipping for five years. Complete Marine Freight’s impressive client list already boasts some of the best in the industry, North Sails Superyacht Service, Artemis Racing and Matador from the TP 52 circuit and the superyacht SY Kokomo, as well as the Superyacht Cup now in its fourth year.
Complete Marine Freight supply a comprehensive range of services from support logistics for race boats, through to boat shipping and freight forwarding. In addition, they already have a large storage facility in Palma for all types of marine cargo, including containers and are able to offer container supply, plating and fit out. With their depth of experience dealing with shipping agents worldwide, they are already
familiar with moving marine cargo, such as sails, spars or electronics from manufacturing bases across the globe. These consignments can often be time critical and may require delicate or specialist handling.
Tom Sell said, “We have seen a gap in the market for a worldwide freight forwarding and yachting services company that is willing to build long term relationships with both its suppliers and clients, to provide a combination of great value transport options with a clear understanding of the requirements for the yachting and boating sector.
We are in the business to make things happen quickly, efficiently and at the best possible price, even if the yacht is in the most remote of locations.”
Scott Zebney, MD North Sails Superyacht Service stated : “We are very pleased with the service we have recieved to date from Complete Marine Freight. They have handled both our imports and export shipments by sea and air very efficiently. The sails and battens we move around are by no means small and we are grateful to have such a good agent on our doorstep. I would be sure to recommend them.”
