Complete Marine Freight are now able to offer container storage near to the main port of Palma and competitive rates.
Complete Marine Freight has recently rented a plot of land in the new industrial area right behind IKEA on the outskirts of Palma, to be used as a container, small boat and large object safe storage area.
The site will be fully operational from the end of July with card entry system on a 24 hour access, running water, electricity and CCTV security. In addition, tenders can be winterised or maintained on site through a new service just set up by Complete Marine Freight. They currently have about 20 containers in storage, both 40ft and 20ft ‘shippers-own’ containers, along with other boats, tenders and cars in their current storage location.
Tom Sell, Commercial Director said: “Although we have been happy with the current storage yard, we were subject to 2 months notice at any time, so we decided it made sound sense to invest into our own storage facility. The new area is ideally situated just behind Ikea, making it more convenient to get to, from shipyards and marinas in Palma. In fact door to door from STP is only 6 minutes.”
Complete Marine Freight also offer a CSC plate inspection service for containers and will send reminders to a specified email address before the plating date expires.
