Tony Smee has been operating specialist services to Folkboat owners on the UK’s South Coast for many years.

Tony Smee is now taking over the operations of Folkboats UK, and has been appointed UK dealer for new Nordic Folkboats, built by Folkboat Centralen based in Denmark.

The addition of new boat sales will greatly enhance the operations of Folkboats UK where their existing services include fitting out, painting, supply of mast, spars and sails, winter storage, launching and recovery.

Folkboats UK will be expanding their operations to offer full support for the growing fleet of Folkboats throughout the UK. Sail packages for cruising and racing are also now available and a new website will be launched to support operations shortly.

Lightweight and with a good turn of speed, the Folkboat is ideal for UK waters, because the yacht is uncomplicated and easy to handle, which is ideal for both long distance cruising or close fleet racing. Folkboats are also very low cost to maintain.
