HYS Rigging will be supporting CORK WEEK 2008 with a dedicated on-site rigging service for the race fleets. It will be far more than just a man and van as it will be headed up by HYS specialist Roger Marino who has years’ of experience repairing rigging, rope and composite systems.
Roger is able to undertake modifications and repairs to all types of running rigging from traditional to high spec. race materials.
The HYS Service van will be fully stocked with specialist ropes, whether for mooring lines or low stretch sheets, guys or halyards. TYLASKA, EQUIPLITE, LIROS-XTREME, GIBB and other specialist equipment is all carried. Splicing can be completed ‘on the spot’ so long as there isn’t a large queue!
The HYS Rigging Service van will be open in the regatta service area from early until late throughout the event.
