THE SUPERYACHT FABRIC COMPANY OF CHOICE
26/07/10
Functional, technical and attractive – different textures and designs available from one supplier for interior and exterior use.
Kayospruce has recently supplied the superyacht Candyscape II, with fabric for her interior styling. Providing a wide selection of different fabrics both for exteriors and interiors is a growing area of business for one of the largest specialised textile suppliers for materials and accessories in Europe. The selection is wide across the different ranges, yet always high quality materials and fabrics incorporating design style and chic with practical functionality. Many of the fabrics have flame resistant properties, as well as UV protection (UPF 50+), yet are designed to withstand the rigours of the marine environment in both hot and cold climates without any degradation from the sun. Further important properties available for the large yacht market are exceptional colour hold, even in a salt water environment and many provide breathability and are mildew resistant.
The soft furnishings side of the business has become increasingly in demand from the global superyacht market, with hundreds of different styles and textures to choose from. Colour options and colourways in both the interior and exterior fabrics, range from bright combinations with bold textile designs, through to subtle complimentary styles. This ensures that the right combination can be reached from one supplier, for either modern stylistic superyachts or for the more traditional yacht design.
More practical working fabrics such as vinyl or canvas are also available from Kayospruce and again are available in a range of colours and technical specifications. Additionally, they can supply complimentary accessories for outdoor awnings, sun covers and biminis.
