TREAD SAFELY MORNING, NOON AND NIGHT
14/06/10
Kayospruce is to launch their new commercial luminous safety tread at Seawork. The tread is designed to glow in the dark as guidelines for walkways, ensuring safe passage at night, even on an unlit pontoon or deck.
Safety tread conforms to ISO 15370 for low location emergency lighting and charges with just 8 hours of daylight, to achieve a 20+ hour glow. Other applications for the luminous material include marking of river posts and lettering for dock reference or signage for fuel berths. In addition, the strips of luminous tread can be used to mark the inside of a berth or dock to make the pontoon more visible at night.
To find out more about Kayospruce’s new luminous safety tread and associated products, visit the Kayospruce stand number 113, at this year’s Seawork in Southampton from 15th – 17th June.
