Superior water repellence and solution dyed fabric to prevent colour degradation from UV rays are just two of the important qualities in Kayospruce’s new Top FR fabric. Fire retardant to European M2, the protection is integral to the fabric and therefore it will not ‘drip melt’ when exposed to flames and further burning is prevented by Top FR’s self extinguishing properties as soon as the flames are deflected.
Top FR is abrasion resistant, making this fabric ideal for commercial awnings or home sun-shades and with the added benefit of resistance to mildew, it is perfectly suited to an outdoor environment. Top FR has also been designed to resist hot or cold environments without cracking or peeling, so it will not have any reduction in performance across the four seasons.
The fabric is suited for many applications where integral fire protection is required, especially for awnings and shade sails for bars, restaurants and hotels. It can even be used for theatre and concert props and displays, meeting all the relevant fire regulations.
Top FR comes in eleven colours and is sold by the metre (£18.90 excluding vat) from a width of 153cm.
