LEWMAR a récemment lancée de nombreux nouveaux produits dans ses différentes gammes aussi bien destinées aux voiliers de compétition qu’aux Super Yachts ou bateaux à moteurs.
Dans le domaine du Superyacht, un vérin de hale-bas de bôme -400 en carbone à récemment attiré l’attention de nombreux architectes navals, fabricants de mâts ou capitaines, comme solution légère haut de gamme.
Ciblée vers les voiliers de course, une nouvelle colonne de winch en carbone plus légère et plus rigide vient d’être développée ainsi qu’une nouvelle version 8 pouces de la très populaire manivelle ONE TOUCH. Pour ceux qui ont tendance à laisser échapper leurs manivelles de winch par-dessus le bord, la nouvelle manivelle flottante « Litetouch » en matériaux composite très légère est peut-être la solution.
Lewmar à par ailleurs aussi lancée deux nouveaux guindeaux, les V6 et V8, spécifiquement destinés aux Superyachts qui intègrent le procédé WARP (wear and abrasion resistance pattern). A l’autre extrémité de la gamme, le nouveau guindeau V sport destiné à tout type de bateau, voile ou moteur de 28 à 40 pieds vient d’être introduit. Pour opérer la totalité de la gamme de guindeaux, Lewmar propose maintenant un interrupteur de pont au profil particulièrement intégré.
Enfin, NAVTEC, la division gréements de LEWMAR, présentera une version continue ultra légère de son gréement dormant en enroulement filamentaire PBO. Cette évolution représente la plus récente et la plus performante solution de gréement composite présente sur le Vendée Globe. En nous rendant visite sur notre stand lors du salon de Paris, vous pourrez découvrir les derniers équipements de pont, la nouvelle gamme de panneaux de pont « flush » ainsi qu’un mini winch captif pour voiliers jusqu’à 40 pieds.

Many New Products for 2009
LEWMAR have very recently launched many new products within their specialist marine ranges, to cover every type of boat, from state of the art racing yachts, to superyachts and powerboats.
In the superacht arena, a -400 carbon vang has recently generated a lot of interest amongst naval architects, rig manufacturers and Captains for a top end, lightweight performance solution.
At the same time, Lewmar has just introduced two new windlasses designed for superyacht loads, the V6 and the V8, using Lewmar’s engineered WARP (wear and abrasion resistant pattern) system. At the opposite end of the size range is the new V Sport windlass for any type of boat, power or sail from 28 - 40’ LOA. To operate the complete range of windlasses, the new deck switches have been introduced in a special low-profile design.
Performance racing yachts, can now benefit from the latest design carbon fibre pedestal which is lighter and stiffer. Also for the top end racing fleets is the new 8 inch version of the hugely successful ONE TOUCH winch handle and for those who are inclined to lose handles over the side, there is a lightweight, new floating winch handle, the composite LiteTouch.
NAVTEC, Lewmar’s Rigging Division will be promoting their continuous ultra lightweight version of standing rigging, in filament winding PBO. This development represents the latest and most efficient composite rigging solution as seen on the current Vendée Globe.
The latest design deckgear, the new range of flush Portlights, and even a mini captive winch for smaller yachts up to 40 feet LOA. have been on display at METS and Paris Boat Shows.
