A new six boat fleet of high performance SB3 Sportsboats are now available for yachting events in the UK and further afield. Lynx Sports Management, of Lymington, identified the 6.15 metre long Laser SB3 as the best all round One-Design Sportsboat for fleet and event racing. They have now taken delivery of six boats which will initially be based at Lymington, but can be easily repositioned for other events including Skandia Cowes Week, ACCBank Cork Week and other UK and Overseas regattas.
The Laser SB3 is sailed by up to four crew with a maximum crew weight limit of 270 kgs to ensure close competition. Not only does it offer close fleet racing, but truly enjoyable sailing, so great fun for team building exercises, whatever the skill level. It is now a fast growing fleet and the biggest at Cowes Week - 98 boats in 2007.
The availability of six boats involving up to 36 crew in new, racing condition makes them ideal for any corporate sailing event or business charter. Experienced helmsmen can be supplied for teams without race experience.
