With the weather getting warmer and minds turning to the Summer sailing season, NovoSail are offering a complete premium service to have your sails and awnings cleaned before the season starts. This can also include the musty winter cover, which has been under snow and ice over the last few months, allowing it to be put away clean and dry.
Using a computer controlled scientific process, NovoSail has brought sail and cover laundering right up to date. There is no more need for jet washing and scrubbing brushes to remove stubborn stains, from what is to any owner a substantial investment.
The cleaning process involves a thorough check over before the sail is spread out and fed into the HS9000 machine horizontally. Should areas require additional soaking and pre-washing for bad staining, this is carried out before it is fed into the machine. The protective coatings are applied to ensure resistance to mildew and other external factors, at the same time renewing the sail’s water repellence and increasing its longevity.
