Sea Sure is to launch three brand new products for METS 2010, two of which have been nominated for a coveted DAME Award.
The range has been extended with three new and innovative products, which have undergone design and engineering analysis throughout the year.
SEA SURE RADIAL RUDDER STOCK
Dame nominated, this rudder stock is a completely revolutionary design, which is aimed to take skiff sailing to the next level. Extremely lightweight and functional, the Radial Rudder Stock solves the problems previously experienced with cast aluminium stocks. With its extruded and milled aluminium construction, this stock allows total precision of easy adjustment, when in shallow water or launching.
SLICK RELEASE
Dame nominated, the Slick Release is a huge improvement on the old fashioned quick release designs. With its lower profile, it is very much easier to use and does not require tape to keep it closed.
The Slick Release a ‘no snag’ design both while locked in to the tiller for use, as well as when being disconnected, operates a ‘click and closed’ system. The joints of the extension fitting provide a positive and secure click attachment, locking the fitting firmly in place even if it is still in an ‘open’ position. The quick release is just as easy to disconnect, with an internal ramp enabling easy removal when needed.
NEW KEELBOAT TRANSOM FITTINGS RANGE
New to the Sea Sure range of transom fittings is the upgraded, larger sized fittings for sports boats and keelboats up to 35’ in length. This is a key extension to the already popular and widely used dinghy fittings, specifically designed for higher load larger boats. One standard – the Best!
ONE STANDARD
There is only one standard of equipment produced by Sea Sure, which is for top level competition. The same fittings which Ben Ainslie and other medal and championship winners use, are the same standard fittings, which you can buy in any chandlery. Sea Sure dinghy fittings have been widely used at Olympic level in the Finn Class, the 470s and in previous years in the Tornado Class.
