NEW MPS RUDDER STOCK INTRODUCED FOR METS 2011 AND NOMINATED FOR DAME AWARD

The impressive new MPS - Multihull Performance Rudder Stock, has been developed during the past season to satisfy demand from multihull sailors. It features a revolutionary “Strike Release” mechanism allowing the rudder to flip when it strikes ground, a buoy or rope, but keeps it secure when travelling at speed through the water.

The MPS is the most advanced multihull rudder stock ever developed. High strength without verticle distortion of the blade angle plus low weight are critical factors for multihull proformance. “Ackerman” steering geometry is incorporated for faster more accurate turns.

This stock fulfills all performance requirements for high performance catamaran racing, and is now an affordable, production item for all types of multihulls - lighter, stronger, stiffer and less “backlash” error for speed.

Sea Sure is committed to a long term programme of developing products that benefit the marine market. They have the engineering skills and capability to design, test and launch new products. This new product comes from their comprehensive development programme that has led to six DAME AWARD nominations in the last five years.

The new stock will be on display on our stand in Hall 1 (01.461) and in the DAME display area.
