METRIQUE WINTER SERIES

For many months Bruno Fauroux of Union du Yachting Cannois (UYC), and Avia Willment of the Metre Shed have been fine tuning a series for Metre boat owners and enthusiasts, to provide racing at a competitive level throughout the Winter. Come and keep your racing skills fresh throughout the Winter, in the sunny Riviera. Join us for a series of six events from September 2008 to March 2009 in Cannes and Monaco.

Coaching ...
In addition to racing, U.Y.C. can provide professional coaching, with video feedback. The Metre Shed would like to support the 6 Metre owners by offering a personalised management package, enabling you to participate with minimum disruption to your personal schedules. This year will see the first gathering of a fleet which we hope will only grow from strength to strength and year to year.
Storage ...
We have limited places for storage in the regatta area and boats will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis. To make a booking, email us on: info@thewillmentgroup.com
New Metre Event ...
Plans are under way for a future programme in Cannes. “Metrique Mediterranean Cup” to take place in May 2009. This is open to all Metre boats and is supported by the 12m and 8m classes.
