Following major reconstruction at the yard, Universal Marina offers a rare combination of 21st Century facilities, with traditional values and tranquil surroundings, making it an ideal location for any yacht. To celebrate these exciting changes, Universal Marina are offering £100 prize vouchers for the winners of a photography competition. The vouchers can be redeemed with Andark (Marine Clothing and Dive Shop).
The competition is in three categories:
Universal Marina Buoy: The most original photograph.
The new Solent racing mark situated east of the Bramble Bank is located at 50: 47.33’N 01: 14.59’W, the distinctive yellow racing mark will be a focal point for many Solent racing and cruising yachtsmen, whether using it as a race rounding mark or navigation point.

The International 12 Metre, “Italia” will be competing under the Universal banner,
(“Italia Universal Marina”) during Cowes Week and will provide a tremendous spectacle for all visitors to the Solent during the first week of August. Originally designed in 1985 by Giorgetti & Magrini, Italia was built at Cantieri Baglietto to challenge for the 1987 America’s Cup in Fremantle Australia.
Life at Universal Marina: Capture a lifestyle image of “your” Universal Marina.
Life at Universal has changed considerably over the past year, with a tremendous build programme and dramatic upgrades to the site. A total refurbishment of the
hard standing, car parking and marina, together with a new dry stack system has recently been completed.
