Universal Marina are offering a package of incentives for anyone who wants to move their boat into the marina for the Winter months, from the beginning of November through to the end of March. With the support of specialist marina facilities, any owner with a boat up to 25m LOA is invited to berth at Universal Marina on the Hamble for the winter term with rates starting from £17.67 per metre per month (inc VAT). Pontoon electricity is included in the price and is available on each berth, allowing the boat to utilise the facilities for dehumidifiers and heaters when the Winter temperatures start to drop. The marina will also give you back £50 towards the cost of buying a dehumidifier, when signing up to the full five months.
In addition, when signing up for a year’s annual berthing before the 31st January 2010, Universal Marina is offering a full morning or afternoon’s free tuition on your own boat with a fully qualified instructor, who will be able to answer all your questions specific to your own vessel. This offer is open to any sailing yacht or powerboat subject to availability, and the half day can be taken up after the end of March 2010.
