The World’s First Fully Electric Luxury Motor Yacht
Dasher achieves a new standard of excellence, pairing modern styling with hi-tech composite construction. Designed from the outset for fully electric propulsion, the carbon-epoxy composite hull shape, designed by Michael Peters, provides superior performance and handling. Dasher powers her 28 feet 6 inches with twin 80hp electric motors and dual i3 lithium ion batteries. No more volatile fuel tanks and associated hardware!
Quiet propulsion, zero emissions and no time wasted at the fuel dock make Dasher the best way to spend time on the water with family and friends. It is also the perfect support craft for any Superyacht, where crew and guests can be comfortably transported to and from the dock. Dasher accepts dual 50 amp charging cables, standard on most docks, so it can charge twice as fast as most electric cars. It gains a full charge in under 4 hours with dual 50amp charging. Her cruising speed is 10mph with fast cruising at 18-27mph. Range is 40 miles at cruising speed and 20-25 miles at fast cruising speeds.
Every ounce of weight has been shaved and sculpted. Titanium hardware and console details were both 3D printed to achieve shapes and a level of precision unavailable in typical construction methods. The faux-teak deck and hand-painted, composite, artisanal teak capping rail offer years of minimal maintenance.
Dasher was launched at the Newport International Boat Show, USA in September 2017 and has since won several prestigious awards including “Best Powerboat under 35ft” and “Best Green Yacht in Show”.
