HINCKLEY’S INVASION OF EUROPE
The Talaria 48 Simply Beauty was delivered in January to a client in Holland who has previously owned several Superyachts. He was looking for a yacht that would be easy to manage by himself and his wife and built to Superyacht standards, so the beautiful Talaria 48 with Hinckley’s Jetstick for easy manoeuvring was the perfect choice.
The specification included twin Volvo 900HP diesels providing a cruising speed of 32 knots and a Seakeeper allowing the craft to maintain stability in a rough cross sea or a swell at anchor. In addition, the yacht was customised for big game fishing with hydraulic outriggers and a battle chair.
The luxurious interior was finished in American Cherry and Teak with Corian worksurfaces in the galley.
This Spring will see the arrival of a Runabout 29 in the Solent, to be initially used as a demonstrator, highlighting the craftsmanship and superb handling ability of this yacht. She will also appear at the Elite Show 11th-12th of May www.theeliteevents.com Please contact us for a trial run.
The boat is equipped with a single 440HP Volvo engine providing a cruising speed of 33 knots, Hinckley’s Jetstick enabling perfect control, leather upholstery and a sun/rain hood.
Ray Hunt – Hunt Yachts
Within the Hinckley Group, Hunt Yachts was formed by C. Raymond Hunt in 1960 with the design of the revolutionary deep-V hulled Moppie. His designs went on to win many trophies and awards, including the hull design for the motor boats that appeared in the early James Bond films.
Ray Hunt designs continue to this day through our close relationship with C. Raymond Hunt Associates, who provide expertise in optimising the performance of the Hunt Deep-V.
Today Hunt Yachts are known for their performance and durability and, when combined with their Classic looks, they will endure alongside the latest fads and trends.
Hinckley continue their strong sailing heritage with the announcement of our new Sou’wester 53 Pilot House, in conjunction with Tripp Design. Experience the pure joy of blue water sailing once again with an ease of ownership that is uniquely Hinckley. The carbon epoxy construction and luxurious interior provide a performance and comfort that is unrivalled and exudes the provenance of a Hinckley yacht.
