Hinckley’s Latest Exhibition in Europe, the New Sport Boat and Much More

Palma Boat Show

Hinckley’s first exhibition in Europe took place last month in Palma de Mallorca, Spain and has been heralded a real success. Many discerning yachtsmen and women thought that the Talaria 44 on display was new, or only a few years old, although she was actually built-in 2003. It just goes to prove that her classic lines are timeless and the quality of the build is exceptional. Many thanks to the local owner for allowing us to exhibit this impressive T44, which generated so much interest.

New Sport Boat 40

A collaboration between Hinckley and Hunt Design has produced a 40’, high specification, Carbon Fibre Sport Boat with three Mercury outboards providing a total of 900HP and allowing speeds of up to 60 knots. Hunt Design know a thing or two about fast hulls, as C. Raymond Hunt designed many world championship winning, offshore power boats, as well as the boats that appeared in many of the early James Bond films. The luxury Hinckley interior features a galley, two berths, electric WC and shower.

Picnic Boat 40

A new recipe for Hinckley’s classic Picnic Boat. The PB40 brings a fresh perspective on the most successful Hinckley series built to date. The high quality, carbon fibre epoxy hull and thoroughbred performance are the usual hallmarks for a Hinckley, but the new PB40 sets higher standards in innovation with the latest Jet Stick control and ease of entry/exit to the boat with an electric side boarding and transom doors.

Just In

A pre-owned, 2003, Picnic Boat 36 was recently delivered from Newport, RI to Southampton, England where the new owner, based in Lymington, is looking forward to a summer of cruising the various rivers, harbours and bays of the South Coast … plus the occasional wine run to St Vaast in France!

The Elite Show London

Hinckley’s second European exhibition recently took place at Wycombe Air Park near London. The show featured many high quality products including Bentley, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce and our beautiful, Bruce King designed, Hinckley Runabout 29. The two day show provided a unique opportunity to showcase the Hinckley product and to portray the lifestyle options on offer to discerning foreign nationals living in the UK and beyond. The numerous, impromptu, model photoshoot requests would suggest our well-appointed R29 was one of the stars of the show.

The boat was built in 2005 and has spent most of its life in Stockholm, before the owner upgraded to her bigger sister, the Runabout 34. This R29 is now situated in Hamble on the English South Coast and is for sale at 165K GBP, VAT paid. The boat is also available for demonstrations.
