Hunt 76 “Phoebe”
The latest Hunt 76 motor yacht has recently been commissioned in Southampton UK and is now at her home port of Jersey in the Channel Islands.
The sea trials took place in Southampton Water and the Solent, with the final sea trial involving a lap around the Isle of Wight. This took place in testing conditions, with a chilly easterly head wind of 28 knots over a 4 knot opposing tide. The English Channel kicked up nicely off St. Catherine’s Point creating waves of up to 3m, which “Phoebe” took in her stride at 15knots.
A beautiful Rhoades Young designed interior, coupled with the legendary Hunt performance providing a range of 400 miles and a top speed of 30 knots, makes the Hunt 76 the most luxurious, hand-built motor yacht in her class. Hunt Yachts assist in personalising the build, to ensure the finished yacht is exclusively yours. Only materials of the highest quality are selected: an extensive range of fine leathers, fabrics and the most exquisite veneers.
Hunt 76 Hull No. 5
This motor yacht is in build and due to be handed over to her owner, Lord Laidlaw in August 2019. Lord Laidlaw currently owns a Hunt 55 that he has enjoyed for a number of years at his home in Sardinia.
In September, Newport Rhode Island saw the arrival of the latest three-cabin Hunt 55, which sports a striking blue hull. After a successful handover to the owner, he took her straight to the sunshine of the southern states. The innovative Hunt 55 is fitted with Volvo 950 IPS allowing for a range of over 300 miles and a top speed of 29 knots.
Three Morris 36 sailboats are in production and will be launched during the course of 2019.
This beautiful Morris Classic is designed by Sparkman & Stephens and hand-built at the Hinckley facility in Maine, New England. The semi-custom nature of the Morris build allows for significant input by the owner. Adding personal touches to many aspects of the yacht, helps to form the bond between the owner and the boat before it even touches the water.
The Classic Picnic Boat 36 “Chloe” built in 2003 arrived in Lymington from the US in time for her new owners to venture in style to some of the most beautiful bays and harbours on the South Coast, whilst enjoying one of the hottest summers the UK has experienced for many years.
With a heater installed and the ability to close off the pilot house, they can extend their use of the boat through the winter months, visiting places that would normally be crowded during the summer. “Chloe” also acts as a taxi from the mainland to the well-known sailing club in Cowes!
The UK Sales Office is now fully functional. The coffee machine is installed and Innes would welcome an opportunity to bring you up-to-date with all the latest Hinckley news and product information.
Hunt Superyacht Tender
Every mother ship needs a tender to taxi owners, guests, crew and supplies to and from the shore and the Hunt Centre Console 32, with its deep V hull design, is the perfect answer. The standard production model can be reconfigured to suit the particular requirements of an owner and is available with either twin outboards or an inboard diesel, providing a top speed of 44 knots.
The 32CC can comfortably accommodate eight people up front in the J seating arrangement. There are two showers: one below and one on the stern for freshening up after a dip and a small galley in which to conjure up refreshments.
The 210’ (64m) Expedition Motor Yacht “Albula” is the latest recipient of a 32CC.
