Visit Lymington Harbour
For 2019 we have renewed and refreshed our initiative to promote Lymington as the destination of choice for visiting yachts.
The initiative consists of leaflets which have been produced both in “hard copy” and email friendly formats and distributed to yacht clubs, sailing associations, harbours and marinas along the south coast. We are also distributing to sailing clubs and associations in the Netherlands as we welcome many Dutch visitors each year.
Visiting yachts are an important source of income for many businesses within the town and this initiative demonstrates the Harbour Commissioners’ commitment to developing waterborne tourism in support of the town and surrounding area.
We are currently recruiting for the following posts:
Seasonal Weekend Slipway Assistant
We are seeking to appoint two part time weekend slipway assistants between 6th April to 29th September. Would suit a student.
Administration Officer (Safety) – Part Time
This is a permanent part time post and will be responsible to the Harbour Master for the administration of the safety management system in compliance with the Port Marine Safety Code as well as assisting the busy team in the Harbour Office dealing with customer enquiries, mooring administration and sales.
